- Moisture or water activity, cut, colour and variety
- Microbiological results
- A food safety certificate such as BRCGS, IFS, FSSC 22000, or at least HACCP
- Organic certification for organic lines (EU organic; Bio Suisse for many Swiss retailers)

Market signals
- EU customs code 0804 50 00 covers mangoes, guavas and mangosteens, fresh or dried, in one line. Official statistics cannot separate dried mango, so Ghana's high value per kilogram suggests a large share of dried or air-freighted fruit, without confirming it. Source
- Mango from Egypt is under increased EU border checks for pesticide residues (20% of consignments). Source
Rules to watch
If you supply dried mango
- State clearly how much of your volume is dried and how it is dried
- Keep residue and sulphite results for every lot, not only one per season
- Share a one-page product sheet with variety, cut, packaging and certifications
A Trust Passport records each of these with its evidence level, so buyers see what is checked and what is not.
